Chain, rope or ladder: which act fits your event?

How my three acts differ and what helps us plan a performance for a gala or corporate event.

Chain, rope or ladder: which act fits your event?
·

Start by watching the performance

My three acts use different materials and movements. With the chain, you can see and hear the weight of the steel. On aerial rope, I work with flowing movement, spins and drops. On the freestanding ladder, the focus is balance on stage.

The videos show more than a description can. Look at what fits the atmosphere of your event. If something interests you, tell me which part you can imagine in your programme.

The venue is part of the decision

The chain and rope acts need a technically suitable overhead setup. The chain act requires at least 4.50 m height and a rigging point with at least 1,000 kg permissible load capacity. Rope requires at least 5 m height and 500 kg. These figures alone do not confirm that a venue is suitable.

The ladder act does not need an overhead rigging point. It does need a stage of at least 4 × 3 m, at least 3.80 m clear height and a suitable level, dry floor. The riders contain the full requirements.

Planning the running order

A single gala performance needs different preparation from several weeks in a variety production. We discuss when the act happens, how close the audience sits and how setup and removal fit the running order.

For an enquiry, include the date, location, type of event and number of performances. If you already have a technical contact, we can review the setup together. My gala and corporate event credits include Coca-Cola, Boehringer Ingelheim and Wirtschaftswoche Borken.
