Rigging & setup

Send me the available height, floor space and information about the rigging point. Photos help too. We confirm the setup after checking it with the venue’s technical team.

Rigging & setup

Technical riders

Download the English riders here. German documents are available on the German rigging page. We agree the actual setup with your venue’s technical team.

Key requirements

Aerial Chain

Rigging point: minimum 1,000 kg permissible load capacity for the agreed setup. Minimum height 4.50 m; recommended 8–10 m. Clear space: at least 2 × 2 m.

Aerial rope

Rigging point: minimum 500 kg permissible load capacity. Minimum height 5 m. Clear floor and aerial space: 3 m diameter.

Ladder

Stage at least 4 × 3 m; minimum clear height 3.80 m. Level, clean, dry and firm floor; no overhead rigging point needed.

Load capacities are not breaking loads. The technical team must assess the entire setup, including dynamic loads, and confirm suitability for performer flying.

Without an overhead rigging point

A freestanding rig can make aerial performance possible where there is no overhead rigging point. We need to check its footprint, height, ground conditions and, outdoors, the weather. The rig is a possible setup, not a separate act.
